Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of products from smallgroupoperator.com, operated by Emanuel Chereji, Einzelunternehmen (trading as Small Group Operator, an imprint of readeur), Hofmannsthalweg 20, 4030 Linz, Austria.

1. THE PRODUCT

The Small Group Operator's Manual is a digital book delivered as a PDF file. The PDF is approximately 55 pages and is sent to the email address provided at checkout immediately after payment is confirmed.

2. PURCHASE AND PAYMENT

By completing checkout, you enter a binding contract to purchase the Small Group Operator's Manual at the price displayed at the time of order. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments and, where applicable, by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.

Prices are quoted in US dollars. As we operate under the Austrian Kleinunternehmerregelung (§6 Abs. 1 Z 27 UStG), no VAT is charged.

3. DELIVERY

The PDF is delivered to the email address you provide at checkout, immediately and automatically after payment is confirmed. If you do not receive the email within 30 minutes, check your spam folder, then contact info@smallgroupoperator.com.

There is no physical shipment. There are no shipping costs.

4. LICENSE TO USE THE PDF

When you purchase the Small Group Operator's Manual, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-resellable license to use the PDF for your personal or single-organization use. Specifically, you may:

- Read the PDF on any of your personal devices
- Print one or more copies for your personal use
- Quote brief excerpts (under 200 words) for non-commercial purposes with attribution to "The Small Group Operator's Manual, published by readeur"

You may not:
- Share, forward, upload, or otherwise distribute the PDF or its contents to third parties
- Resell or sublicense the PDF or any portion of it
- Reproduce the PDF in full or in substantial part for any commercial purpose
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the PDF without written permission

The license is granted to a single buyer for use within a single household or single small-group context. Bulk licenses for churches and small-group networks are available — see clause 5.

5. BULK LICENSES

5-pack and 10-pack licenses, where offered, authorize use by up to 5 or up to 10 named users within one church, ministry, or organization. Each named user receives their own copy of the PDF. Sharing a single copy among more users than the license permits is a breach of these terms.

6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND REFUNDS

See our separate Refund Policy. By completing checkout and confirming the consent checkbox, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital product and acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under §11 FAGG expires upon commencement of download. Our voluntary 30-day refund guarantee applies independently.

7. NATURE OF THE CONTENT — NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

The Small Group Operator's Manual provides general guidance for volunteer small-group leaders. It is not professional advice in any regulated domain, including but not limited to pastoral counseling, clinical psychology, theology, or any other professional or licensed field. Outcomes depend on circumstances beyond the publisher's control. Apply judgment.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by Austrian law, the publisher's liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of the Small Group Operator's Manual is limited to the purchase price paid. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for damages caused by gross negligence or intent, or for personal injury, where such limitation would be unlawful under Austrian or EU law.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content of the Small Group Operator's Manual — including text, structure, scripts, templates, and the 30-day verification checklist — is the intellectual property of Emanuel Chereji and is protected under Austrian copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. The version of the terms in force at the time of your purchase governs your contract. Future updates apply only to future purchases.

11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms are governed by Austrian law. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of the consumer's country of residence remain unaffected. The competent court for disputes is the court at the seller's registered address, to the extent permitted by law.

12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Consumers in Austria may also contact the Internet Ombudsmann (www.ombudsmann.at). We are not obliged to participate in arbitration proceedings before a consumer dispute resolution body and do not generally do so.
